Pregnancy and birth has interested me since I was a young child. As I grew so did my interest! When I was 17 I attended a friends birth and from that moment on I knew I wanted to pursue midwifery, I then went through a 9 month midwifery intensive course. After which I worked in a small village clinic in Africa for 3 months doing prenatal care and attending births.
I came back to the states in 2015 and began my apprenticeship working alongside 5 midwives gaining experience both in a birth center setting as well as home birth. After attending over 100 births during my training, I then sat for my NARM exam to became a CPM (Certified Practicing Midwife) as well as completing the requirements to become a LDM (licensed midwife) in Oregon.
I am passionate about providing safe, personalized and compassionate care in my community!
